We are looking for a specialized Maintenance Planner with excellent process troubleshooting to assist with the start up of a new high speed line Fortune 50 Consumer Goods Manufacturer. This is a 3-12 month contract role based on performance, and will require 75%-100% travel as the contractor will need to be on site.
Responsibilities
Advanced maintenance planner or other relatively experience professional experienced in industrial manufacturing (preferably with Consumer Goods Experience)
Assist with doing all the initial IQ / OQ checks to ensure that equipment is installed as required and all devices are installed in the proper orientation,
Assist with checking all mechanical aspects of the equipment (Alignment, torque tests, guards in place, free moving parts),
Assist with developing and documenting centerlines,
Assist with developing AM / PM Plans and documentation (Maintenance Plans),
Assist with developing CIL’s,
Assist with developing re-build instructions for equipment, Full understanding of LOTO (Lockout / Tagout) requirements and working around energized equipment, Understanding of production, packaging and conveying systems. Strong mechanical aptitude and/ or engineering degree/experience

10+ years of experience as Mechanical Engineer/Technician/Maintenance Planner
Full understanding of LOTO (Lockout / Tagout) requirements and working around energized equipment,
Understanding of production, packaging and conveying systems.
Strong mechanical aptitude and/ or engineering degree/experience
Proficiency in English
Outstanding time-management skills
Ability to multitask and being comfortable dealing with a diverse pool of people
